Sanjya Matsuri
Known for its long tradition of 700 years, the Sanja Festival features a grand parade on the first day, an annual ceremony and a parade of about 100 mikoshi by local parishioners on the second day, and a parade of the Sensoji's three main mikoshi on the last day. The main street between Kaminarimon Dori Avenue and Umamichi Dori Avenue will be closed to traffic and turns into gOmatsuri hirobah (festival square).
