The contest is to contribute improving the awareness and pride of tourism to people and especially tour guides about TL-HN. Thus, to introduce and transmit effectively for domestic and international tourists when visitting Hanoi. The final contest will be taking place in July of 2010 and choosing 5 candidates in the shortlist of attending the National skillful contest.

The 50th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam Tourism is a very important event of Vietnam Tourism in special year 2010.

400 exhibition booth with the participation of CPTA member cities, the travel agencies, transportations, hoteliers, the international airlines such as Vietnam Airline, Air France, Tiger Airway, Air Asia, etc.

Festival is a place of cultural exchange between Hanoi and the regions, to introduce and promote Hanoi cuisine art with the subject: "Hanoi cuisine intensification of tradition value, enhance the relation exhange and integration" to international friends and people the cuisine arts of Hanoi, localities throughout the country and as well as some countries which are tourist market of Hanoi. Demonstrating that Hanoi is not only a place to keep the traditional values but also the pioneer in the integration, interaction with other localities and the international, where of the interference of the regional cuisine. The Opening Ceremony at 17:30 the 7th Oct, The Ending and Awarding Ceremony at 19:00 the 10th Oct.

This is one of activities with events of Ministies, department and localities in the national tourism year 2010.

The ceremony will be held to summarize and report the result of "National Tourism Year 2010 in Hanoi" program; to commend and reward organizations, enterprises and individuals that gain achievements in implementing the program.
