The starting point is at Sanam Chai, in front of the Grand Palace, passing many fascinating tourist attractions. The race is divided into 36 categories ; 42.185 kilometre-marathon, 21.10 kilometre-half-marathon and 10.55 kilometre-quarter-marathon.
